Sugar Beach

Located just over the border from Gulf Shores, this Orange Beach condominium complex has something for every size wallet. Sugar Beach offers studio units on the low end of the value spectrum and higher-end units with beachfront views. The sizable Sugar Beach condominiums have 198 condos spread over three stories with efficiency units to two-bedroom units. They range in size from 400 square feet to 1,200 square feet and have up to a pair of bathrooms. Modest kitchens may or may not have granite countertops depending on renovation efforts. Larger units may include a wet bar, space is available for an upright washer and dryer, and each has a private balcony. Some of the units look directly onto the beach but most face west and east. Some, mostly the efficiency units, face the north.

In addition to spacious beaches and a beach service, there are three outdoor pools – two of which face the beach and a kiddie pool is available. A tennis court is toward the front of the building. Other amenities include snack bar and barbecue area. One parking space is allotted for efficiency and one-bedroom units. A pair of spaces are reserved for two-bedroom units. The condominium units are located within walking distance to several restaurants and retail locations. It is also 3.5 miles from the intersection with Highway 59, also known as the “T.” To the east of Sugar Beach is the Romar Beach Condominiums and directly to the west is open space. The nearest property to the west is Palm Beach Resort.
