Royal Palms

If being near Gulf State Park is an important part of your vacation experience, then Royal Palms may be the choice for you. This 14-story condominium complex, built in 1999, has 101 units located next to the western border of Gulf State Park. And not only that, the complex is on the beach. Royal Palms is made up of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units that range in size from 600 square feet to 1,000 square feet. Each of the units has a pair of bathrooms. Modest kitchens were not originally constructed with granite countertops, two bunk-beds are built into the wall of the hallway, and room for a stackable washer/dryer is available. Covered balconies are accessed through sliding doors off the living room. The condo complex includes an entrance way and a pair of elevators.

A modestly-sized outdoor pool is off the eastern portion of the property, facing the Gulf of Mexico, and a boardwalk leads to the beach. Indoor amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and fitness room. A two-car maximum has been set for the landscaped parking lot, which includes both covered and uncovered spaces. Royal Palms is a mile away from the many restaurant and shopping options on Highway 59. The complex is a short walk away from great fishing opportunities off the pier at Gulf State Park to the east. It is one of few piers into the Gulf of Mexico available in the region. Directly to the west of Royal Palms is open land and the nearest condominium complex is the Colonnades Condominium, two properties to the west.
