Come Experience Life at Romar Tower
Romar Tower gives you a taste of the early days of the design to come of beachside condominium complexes. Built in 1984, this building was one of the original structures of its kind to be built in this region of the Gulf Coast. This nine-story concrete building has 35 units with one, two, or three bedrooms. One-bedroom units are 700 square feet and have a single bathroom while two-bedroom and three-bedroom units range in size from about 1,300 square feet to nearly 1,400 square feet, each unit has a pair of bathrooms. Kitchens have all the expected features and may include granite countertops depending on renovations. Covered balconies can be accessed from the master bedroom and living room. Wifi is available, there is space for a stackable washer/dryer, and the condo is serviced by an elevator.
A modestly-sized outdoor pool faces the sugar sands of the Gulf of Mexico as does a landscaped grassy area with a gazebo. The pool and gazebo are separated by a boardwalk that leads to the beach. There are no indoor amenities. The uncovered parking lot has a two-car maximum per unit and leads to a covered entrance. Romar Place is about 4.5 miles from the shopping and restaurant options located on Highway 59. The Florida border is about 6.5 miles away. Across the street from the condominium complex is Wintzell’s Oyster House and it is down the road from Adventure Island and Gulf State Park beach access. To the east of Romar Tower is the Romar Place condominium complex and to the west is Phoenix West.
