Romar Place

Set amongst a number of high-rise condominium complexes, Romar Place is unique. It offers relatively low-density three-bedroom units with direct access to Gulf of Mexico and a great location. Built in 1995, the 66 condos in this 14-story building range in size from 1,200 square feet to just over 1,300 square feet. Corner units are a little bigger and also have wrap-around tiled balconies providing views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as Ole River and Terry Cove, if they are above the fourth floor. Each condo has either two or three bathrooms, depending on the location of the condo. Kitchens have all the expected features of a modern condo and may or may not have granite countertops depending on renovation efforts. Units have room for full-sized washer and dryers, internet capability, and the complex is served by a pair of elevators.

Romar Place has a beachside, outdoor pool that looks out onto the Gulf of Mexico. A barbecue area, sun deck, and boardwalk leading to the sugar-sand beaches are also available. Indoor amenities include a pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room. The maximum number of vehicles per unit is two. The lot is uncovered and has little landscaping with exception of the entrance to the complex off Perdido Beach Boulevard. Romar Place is 4.5 miles from the intersection of Highway 59 and is located across the street from Wintzell’s Oyster House. To the east of the condominium complex is Escapes! To the Shores and to the west is Romar Tower.
