Come Experience Life at Romar Beach
An affordable condo with access to the Gulf of Mexico is what you get with Romar Beach. Seen as an entry-level property, this 3-story, wood-frame building has 44 two-bedroom units. Constructed in 1984, the building was one of the first developments in the region. Six of the condos look directly onto the sugar-sand beach, but the majority of the staggered condos face the east, offering varying degrees of gulf views. Each of the units are about 850 square feet and have a pair of bathrooms. Modest kitchens may or may not have granite countertops depending on renovation projects. Each unit has balconies accessed through the living room and master bedroom, looking out to the east and the west. Hookups for a stackable washer/dryer are available as is an elevator.
The fenced-in property includes a modestly-sized, outdoor pool on the beachside as well as a sun deck. A barbecue area is also near the pool and covered parking is available for a maximum of two cars. Romar Beach is a little more than 3.5 miles from the intersection with State Route 59 and seven miles from the Florida border. Across the street from Romar Beach is the Ron Jon Surf Shop and several convenient store options. And if you’ve had enough of the beach, just down the road is the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail – Rosemary Dunes Trailhead. To the east of the condominium complex is the Hilton Garden Inn and to the west is a single-family home. The closest condominium complex to the west, the Sugar Beach Condominiums, is two doors down.
