Come Experience Life at Portside
If a dedicated slip for your boat is a mandatory feature in an Orange Beach condo, Portside has what you are looking for. This smaller complex, built in 1985, sits on Ole River and features 27 units with either three bedrooms or four bedrooms. Each unit in the three-story complex is assigned a boat slip. Two-bedroom condos are about 1,000 square feet and three-bedroom units are about 1,300 square feet. Modest kitchens may or may not have granite countertops, depending on renovation projects, but many of the units have seen updates. A private balcony looks out onto the courtyard and provides views of Ole River. The sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are just across the street and views can be seen from the units. Portside is served by an elevator but units can be accessed from a stairway on the side of the building.
Assigned boat slips are the main feature of Portside and are located a little more than a mile from Perdido Pass, which opens into the Gulf of Mexico. Slips have lifts and a fishing pier is available as well as a fish cleaning station. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, gazebo, basic landscaping, and a barbecue area. Covered parking, some of which is also assigned, is under the condos and assigned storage units are also available. Portside is less than a mile from the Florida border and about 10 miles from the restaurants and shopping options on State Route 59. To the east of this complex are the River Chase condos and to the west is Dolphin Harbor.
