This is the first of four condo complexes under the Phoenix name at this beachfront location along Perdido Beach. Built in 1985, Phoenix I is made up of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three bedroom units that range in size from 600 square feet to 1,400 square feet. One-bedroom condos have a single bathroom while two-bedroom units and three-bedroom units have a pair of bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the Gulf of Mexico in this 15-floor, 100-unit complex. Access to a private, covered balcony is off the living room. The moderately-sized kitchens, which open into the living room, may have granite countertops depending on renovation efforts. Washer/dryer hookups are available as is complex-wide wifi. A pair of elevators serve the complex.
An outdoor pool looking out onto the Gulf of Mexico is heated in the winter months and a children’s pool area is also available. A large deck includes a boardwalk to the sugar sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Other amenities at the complex includes a hot tub, pavilion, outdoor shower, sauna, game room, exercise room, racquetball court, and a pair of tennis courts. One parking spot is the maximum for one-bedroom units and two cars is the maximum for two-bedroom and three-bedroom units. The complex is nearly five miles from State Highway 59 and about 3.5 miles from Perdido Pass. Phoenix I is a short drive from the majority of restaurant and shopping options, but it is located across the street from Wintzell’s Oyster House. To the east of Phoenix I is the Phoenix II complex and to the west is the Four Winds condominium complex.
