If a comfortable, affordable condo with access to the Gulf of Mexico is a top priority, Perdido Dunes may just be what your wallet has in mind. This two-story set of condos is long, stretching from the beach to a parking lot bordering Perdido Beach Boulevard. The 44 units, constructed in 1985, all have two bedrooms that are about 900 square feet. Two bathrooms are available in each unit, rarely you'll find one with an additional half bath. Depending on renovation efforts, condos in Perdido Dunes may have granite countertops in the modestly-sized kitchen. A private balcony from the living room faces the neighboring tower of condos and offers limited views of the sugar sands of Perdido Beach. Units also include another porch area near the entrance that provide limited beach views. A washer/dryer hookup is available as is wifi.
The condo complex includes a smallish beach-front pool and there is a two-car maximum in the uncovered parking lot, which is bordered by a low wall separating the complex from its neighbors. There is a walkway to the beach from the eastern side of the complex and a barbecue area is available. Perdido Dunes is located just west and down the street from the popular San Roc Key shopping center, which includes several restaurant and shopping options. It is also about a half mile west from the Perdido Pass. This complex is a low-density option compared to the numerous condominium towers in the area. Directly to the east to Perdido Dunes is the 14-story Phoenix East complex and to the west is the 14-story Phoenix VII condominiums.
