Beachfront Living at the Right Price
This complex is what you are looking for if “affordability” and “on the beach” are part of your condominium buying vocabulary. This 65-unit, family-friendly Harbour Place was built in 1996. It has a variety of condos consisting of one, two or three bedrooms. More than a dozen of these units have direct views of the sugar sands beaches and the Gulf of Mexico while the remainder are toward the back of the facility. Units nearer to the street have more limited gulf views, though balconies closer the street are tilted toward the ocean for better views. One-bedroom units are just under 700 square feet and contain 1.5 bathrooms. Two bedroom units are a little more than 870 square feet and have two bathrooms. Three bedroom units are about 1,300 square feet and have three bathrooms. All units have washer/dryer hook-ups, average kitchens, balconies, and are served by an elevator.
The complex features a swim-through pool with the outside portion facing the Gulf of Mexico. There is also a hot tub. A private boardwalk leads to the beach and a covered patio area rests next to grilling stations. There is both covered and open parking at Harbour Place and there is a two-car maximum. The complex is located on one of the most western sections of Orange Beach and is close to numerous restaurants and shopping options. Children’s activities, including a zip line and kayaks at Gulf State Park, are located just down the road. Harbour Place is next to the upscale community of The Cottages at Romar to the east. The 5-story Hilton Garden Inn is to the west.
