Harbor Cove: A Boater's Paradise
Harbor Cove is where you want to be if you seek a parking spot for your pleasure boat, want lots of amenities, and easy access to Perdido Pass. The complex, built in 1999, has 60 units on the northwestern shores of Terry Cove where visitors have their own slips on a private marina. Harbor Cove contains from two-bedroom to four-bedroom units in its five-story building. Most, however, have three bedrooms and three bathrooms and are just over 1400 square feet. Units contain the expected appliances you’d find in a modern kitchen, which are spacious in comparison to other area condominiums. There are washer/dryer hook-ups and some condos have upgraded bathrooms with items like sauna facilities. Units may also have a covered balcony or patio area off the living room.
Harbor Cove is especially focused on boaters. Each unit is assigned a boat slip in the marina, which includes two piers with 30 slips a piece. Each pier has a covered gazebo and a fish cleaning station and each of the slips includes water and electric connections. Harbor Cove abuts some of the area’s best fishing locations. Professional landscaping surrounds an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue stations look out onto Terry Cove. A heated indoor pool and fitness room is available and there is also a hot tub and steam room. A tennis court is embedded into the gated parking lot and there are also 30 spaces available for boat trailers. Harbor Cove is nearby numerous restaurants, accessible by land or sea, and there are water-sport rental companies offering everything from fishing expeditions to Jet Skis. The complex has Orange Beach municipal services, including sewerage and water. Harbor Cove is located next to Walker Key, A Marina Community, to its west and single-family homes, Hudson Marina and Water-sports to its east.
