Laid Back Beach Living at The Gulf Village
The Gulf Village complex truly has a village feel. There are three separate buildings with a range of one-bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom units at this western Gulf Shores, beach-front location. The 60 condos are between 425 square feet and 900 square feet. The majority are one-bedroom and two-bedroom units though there are three-bedroom condos, particularly if they are on the shore. Two-bedroom units may have one or two bathrooms while one-bedroom units have one bathroom. Value is definitely related to a units’ proximity to the beach as well as its location in one of three buildings. Those on the shore have wrap-around, covered porches with balcony access from every bedroom. However, each unit in the three buildings do have balconies, but beach views are limited in condos near the street.
There is a pair of two-story buildings on the eastern side of Gulf Village, which was constructed in 1982. A four-story building on the western side has an elevator. The complex includes two beach-side, outdoor pools, a barbeque area, covered and uncovered parking, and Buildings A and B are serviced by a coin-operated laundry area. Units in the larger building have their own washer and drier. The parking lot has a two-car maximum and no RVs or trailers are allowed. There is a boardwalk to the beach as well as access to Little Lagoon where there is an expansive beach. Gulf Village is about 1.3 miles away from Highway 59 and the newly-constructed Pearl Duplex is on its west side while the Legacy condominium complex is on its east side. Gulf Village has Gulf Shores municipal services and is located nearby a number of restaurants and shopping options.
