Grand Living on the Gulf of Mexico
The Grand Caribbean is close to everything, but not too close. The four-story complex, built in 2004, borders Cotton Bayou to its north. The Gulf of Mexico is a trip across State Route 182 and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The low-density condominium complex is made up of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units (some have a loft to serve as a third bedroom) that vary in size depending on their location and remodeling efforts. Larger units can go up to nearly 1,200 square feet while one-bedroom units are on average 650 square feet. One-bedroom units have a full bath while larger units may have 1.5 baths or two full baths. For additional sleeping options, there are bunk beds built into the hallway. Balconies have unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico as do balconies facing Cotton Bayou in the L-shaped building. Units have all the expected features of a modern condominium including full kitchen, laundry hook-ups, and pay-as-you-go Internet.
Grand Caribbean Amenities
A community pool and hot tub sits on the Gulf side of The Grand Caribbean and a covered picnic area and community charcoal grill is located near the manicured grounds. The complex is served by an elevator. Grand Caribbean is adjacent to several boat slips as part of the Gulf State Park. They extend into Cotton Bayou and there is also plenty of parking for boat trailers and cars. In the Grand Caribbean’s proximity, Gulf State Park piers into the Gulf and bayou allow for numerous fishing opportunities for visitors. Parking at the complex costs $22 per vehicle and boat trailers are welcome during the off-season. The complex has a two-car maximum and it is served by Orange Beach municipal services. There are no condominium complexes directly to the east or west of Grand Caribbean. The complex, however, is located directly next to a convenience store and gas station.
