Practical Condo Living at Four Winds
If you’re looking for a no frills, low density condominium complex on the Orange Beach shore, Four Winds Condominiums may be the right choice. The complex, built in 1999, was constructed a little closer to the beach than the taller, neighboring condominium complexes allowing for unobstructed views of the Gulf. Four Winds is a nine-story complex with a mix one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Smaller units, located in the center of the building, are about 780 square feet while the larger ones, on the edges of building, are just over 1,000 square feet. Each has the same number of bathrooms as they do bedrooms. For additional sleeping options, a pair of bunk beds is embedded into the wall of the hallway. The kitchen contains all the amenities you might expect from a modern condominium and there is central electric for heating and cooling as well as wifi. There are laundry hook-ups and the complex is served by an elevator.
Beachside balconies are attached to each unit and are accessed from the living room. Amenities include a Gulf-side outdoor pool and hot tub as well as a fenced-off kiddie pool. There is also a barbecue area. A boardwalk leads to the beach from the pool area where a beach service can provide a chair and umbrella at a low cost. Parking is located in front of the stucco-faced building. Four Winds is located close to numerous shopping centers and restaurants. Directly across the street is Wintzell’s Oyster House. Neighboring condominium complexes include Phoenix I, to the east, and Escapes! To the Shore to the west. There are also plenty of nearby activities from parasailing to dolphin-watching excursions. The complex is served by Orange Beach municipal services such as water, sewerage, and trash.
