Edgewater West: Views Unlike Any Other

All units in the Edgewater West condominium complex have exceptional, unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. There are 43 units in this ten-floor complex, built in 1983. It contains a mix of two-bedroom and three-bedroom units that range in size from 1,000 square feet to 1,400 square feet and each has the same number of bathrooms as bedrooms. Gulf views can be enjoyed through picture windows and a glass-enclosed “sunroom,” a feature unique to Edgewater West. The white sandy beach is a brief walk along a boardwalk from the rear of the complex. There is also an outdoor pool on the grounds overlooking the Gulf, an outdoor shower, as well as storage lockers for each tenant.

Edgewater West Amenities

Edgewater West complex is pet-friendly and served by an elevator. The three-bedroom units have living room/dining area that is approximately 22 feet by 14 feet and have two master bedrooms that are about 12 feet by 14 feet. The smaller bedroom is approximately 12 feet by 11 feet. Two-bedroom units contain one master bedroom and a smaller bedroom. The kitchen spaces are approximately 13 feet by 6 feet and contain the expected allotment of appliances and cabinetry. The exact specifications for each unit may differ depending on renovations done by the owner. Also, there is wifi coverage throughout Edgewater West as well as cable television.

Two parking spaces are available for each tenant in the lot off West Beach Boulevard. Maintained landscaping is handled through the homeowner’s association as well as upkeep of the common areas at Edgewater West. In addition to a pool, there is a modest exercise room and games available in a common area downstairs. Fees to the association pay for basic cable, common area maintenance, pest control, recreational facilities, reserve funds, taxes for the common area, trash, water, and sewer. Shopping, dining, entertainment, and Gulf State Park are a short-trip from this popular beach-side complex.
