Panoramic Views & Beachfront Living
The Edgewater condominium complex is nestled on the beach side, not far, down the popular West Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores. The eight-story building contains 28 units of mostly two-bedroom condominiums each unit’s approximate living space between 1,000 square feet and 1,200 square feet. There is also at least one four-bedroom unit created from combining two units. The Edgewater complex is a raised concrete structure built in 1982 and each unit has views of the Gulf of Mexico that can be seen from balconies overlooking the shore.
Edgewater Amenities
Although units within Edgewater are not all pet friendly, there are corner units that will allow pets. The living and dining area is approximately 22 feet by 13 feet and feature waterfront views via sliding glass windows leading onto an enclosed balcony (sliding glass doors can be opened to feel the Gulf breezes). Master bedrooms are roughly 14 feet by 12 feet with slightly smaller second bedrooms, which have sliding glass doors looking out onto the Gulf. Each unit contains a pair of bathrooms and a modestly-sized kitchen. However, dimensions may differ depending on renovations done by the owner. Condominium amenities include cable television, an electric water heater, and ceiling fans to accentuate refreshing breezes of the Gulf Coast.
There is an outdoor pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and access to the beach. Also, for convenience, each unit has its own storage locker at beach level. There is spacious parking off West Beach Boulevard at the Edgewater. Landscaping is maintained by the homeowner’s association and fees to the association pay for basic cable, common area maintenance, pest control, recreational facilities, reserve funds, taxes for the common area, trash, water, and sewer. Shopping, dining, entertainment, and Gulf State Park are a short-trip from this popular beach-side complex. Edgewater condominium complex is nestled between Surfside Shores II and Tropical Winds condominium complexes.
