Enjoy Waterfront Living in the Caribbean
Built in 2000, the 32 units in the Caribbean are considered one of the older waterfront establishments in this bustling tourist hot spot. The complex is quiet and includes both one-bedroom and two-bedroom units that range in size from 770 square feet to about a 1,058 square feet. There are four lengthwise units on a floor, including a pair of one-bedroom units in the center and a pair of two-bedroom units on the wings of the complex. Each has between one and a half and two bathrooms as well as views of the Gulf Coast from a private balcony leading from the south-facing living room. Some of those living rooms are carpeted depending on the owner. Bedrooms are located in the center of the units and lack views of the Gulf. In a two-bedroom unit, there are full bathrooms off the master bedroom include a Jacuzzi bath as well as a stand-up shower. Kitchens include dishwashers, refrigerator, ovens, and other appliances. It is separated from the living room by a breakfast nook and the counters are for the most part white, depending on the owner. There is also a stacked washer and dryer as well as wireless internet and televisions throughout. These units are rented on a three-night minimum basis throughout the year. Unlike most all other gulf front complexes located in Gulf Shores, the Caribbean allows renters to bring their pets.
Luxury Amenities
The Caribbean, located on West Beach Boulevard, has access to a private beach and the complex includes both a small indoor pool and more spacious outdoor pool. Both have views of the Gulf and the outdoor pool is heated during the winter season. There is also a sauna and steam room. You’ll find a fitness room on the first floor as well as a pair of barbecue pits on the side of the building. The units are serviced by an elevator and covered parking spaces. One parking space is allotted for one-bedroom units and two spaces for two-bedroom units.
Exciting Attractions Nearby
The Caribbean is only a short walk or drive to restaurants, shopping and local attractions. Among some of the things to see are Gulf State Park and fishing pier, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, six nearby golf courses, and Waterville USA. The Caribbean is a 7 minute drive from the Gulf Shores Sportsplex, a 100-acre facility that includes football, soccer and baseball fields and hosts numerous tournaments. To the east of Caribbean, you will find The Gulf Tower condominiums. And to the west, you will find Sandpiper condominium complex.
